Principal's Message

Welcome to the Byrd House!  

It is with great honor and excitement that I step into the role of principal at Byrd Middle School. As we embark on a shared journey to excellence, I am humbled by the opportunity to lead, learn, and collaborate alongside a wonderful community of educators, students, and families. My commitment to fostering a safe educational environment is unwavering, and I am dedicated to driving our school towards a future filled with achievement and growth.

I obtained my bachelor's degree in History from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Masters in
Conflict Resolution from SMU. I have served students, teachers, and families for 17 years and look
forward to our partnership toward success.

I am excited for the future and know we are on a path where excellence is a way of life. With your
support, I am confident we will continue to positively impact the lives of all students. I wholeheartedly
believe students deserve a quality education where they feel empowered to achieve more than they
could ever imagine.
